College Notes

Graduations James Goodrich of Florida graduated from SUNY Delhi with an associate’s degree in electrical construction and instrumentation. He is currently employed by Coli Electric Contractors in Paramus, N.J. Brian Goodrich of Florida graduated magna cum laude from American University’s School of International Service and School of Public Affairs with honors, earning a bachelor of arts degree in international studies and political science. This fall he will be attending Boston University’s School of Law. Lauren Ramos of Florida was recently awarded her master’s degree in education from the School of Education at Binghamton University, State University of New York. Her area of study was early childhood education. The following students were recently awarded degrees from the School of Management at Binghamton University, State University of New York: Patrick C. Jones of Warwick, bachelor of science degree in accounting. Michael Ludwig of Warwick, bachelor of science degree in accounting, with honors. Dean’s list Alexa Joanow of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa. She is a physician assistant science major. To qualify, a student must maintain a quality point average of 3.5 or better for the semester. Awards, honors, programs Mark Joanow, a 2011 Warwick Valley High School graduate, was recently asked to participate in an elite professional program of The Pennsylvania State University. The program permits a dual undergraduate and graduate degree in the Science BS/ MBA Program of The Pennsylvania State University. Mark is one of only eight students who were selected to participate in this five-year program. The Eberly College of Science and the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University combine to provide outstanding and highly motivated individuals the opportunity to combine an undergraduate degree in basic science with a graduate degree in business in this five year program. Mark is the son of Dr. Alex and Marie Joanow of Warwick.
