Dean’s list Alexander Baker has been named to the dean’s list for the 2011 fall semester at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he earned a grade point average of 4.0. He is a 2011 graduate of Warwick Valley High School. Alex Butfilowski of Greenwood Lake was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, Mass. To qualify, a student must be enrolled is six or more credit courts and attain a grade point average of 3.25 or better. Shelby Fisher of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Cortland. A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Shelby is studying communications and public relations. Kristen Ludecker of Florida has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Cortland. A graduate of the S.S. Seward Institute, Kristen is studying business economics. Katharine Nitschke, a graduate of Warwick Valley High School, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2011 fall semester at Marywood University in Scranton, Pa. Robert D. Howell of Florida, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Clarkson University in Potsdam. Dean’s list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours. Laura Z. Smith of Pine Island was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Alfred University. She is a senior in the School of Art and Design. A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Laura is the daughter of Scott and Dorothy Smith of Pine Island. Students must earn at least a 3.3 grade point average to qualify for dean’s list. Graduations Tyler Reynolds from Warwick graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in December with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. Tyler is a 2007 graduate of Warwick Valley High School. He is the son of Keith and Tami Reynolds of Warwick as well as the brother of Colton Reynolds, a 2010 graduate of Warwick who is studying at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., Allison Reynolds who is a senior at Warwick and Connor, sophomore at Warwick. SUNY Orange awarded associate’s degrees and academic certificates to 136 students who completed their courses of study during the recently concluded fall semester.
