    Colleges and universities continue to report on the academic successes of area students. Here are some of the names of those students and their accomplishments: • Hannah Schiff of Warwick graduated May 28 from Brown University in Providence, R.I., with a bachelor’s degree in international relations. She is working for the summer at InterAction in Washington, D.C., as a public policy intern. InterAction is the largest alliance of U.S.-based international development and humanitarian nongovernmental organizations. With more than 160 members operating in every developing country, it works to overcome poverty, exclusion and suffering by advancing social justice and basic dignity for all. In September, Hannah will travel to Nicaragua, where she has accepted a three-month position teaching English. She is the daughter of Beth Kalet and David Schiff of Warwick. • Jesse Silver of Sugar Loaf received a bachelor of science degree in communication media in production from SUNY New Paltz in May. The following students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2006 semester. To qualify, students must achieve at least a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester. • Linita Shannon of Florida, a junior majoring in sociology and television-radio-film. • Heather Knapp of Warwick, a senior majoring in anthropology. • David Villegas of Warwick, a freshman majoring in arts and sciences. Danielle I. Bugasch of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2005 semester at William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J. Charles W. Moore III of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for Spring 2006 at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.
