The Journalism Education Foundation of New England (JEFNE) has selected Rachel Zarrell, of Warwick, a student at Northeastern University, as the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. Kristi Brodman of Florida has graduated from Dominican College with a bachelors degree in humanities. Matthew E. Culkin of Warwick was named to the dean’s list at Marywood University, in Scranton, Pa. He is entering his senior year at Marywood and will be graduating in 2012 with a degree in business management.
