Church to sponsor soul food dinner and rummage sale

Warwick — The Union AME Church, Rev. Mashona Davis, pastor, will sponsor a soul food dinner and rummage sale fundraiser at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds from this event will go towards the Union AME Church’s New Church building fund. The public is invited to come out and enjoy macaroni and cheese, potato salad, rice and peas, string beans, fried chicken, fried fish, sweet potato soufflé, cornbread, carrot cake, chocolate cake, and pound cake, while they rummage through all the specialty items at a fraction of their cost.
