Warwick - Warwick attorney Bob Krahulik managed to introduce dozens of public officials and other important guests in record time at a fund raiser Aug. 20 at the Warwick Valley Country Club. The well-attended reception was for his wife, Christine, who is a Republican candidate for state Supreme Court in the upcoming November elections. Bob Krahulik, who served as emcee, instituted a single clap rule following each introduction. The innovative rule not only brought much laughter but it worked. Christine Krahulik, who currently serves as a Support Magistrate for the Orange and Westchester County Family Courts, is facing a tough race this November in that she is competing for votes in the Ninth Judicial District which includes Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. Krahulik, who earned her bachelor’s degree from Siena College, graduated from Albany Law School in 1990. Prior to her current position she was principal court attorney to a Family Court judge where she was instrumental in implementing the county’s Family Treatment Court. Krahulik has also served as treasurer of the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties. Her other accomplishments include serving as a board member and Quality Sub-committee chair at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She has also served on the Leadership Orange Board of Directors, the Orange County Drug Court Steering Committee, the Warwick Town Beach Visioning Committee, and the Sharing Success Team for children in foster care. Krahulik is a member of St. Stephen’s Parish and a contributor to community organizations like United Way, Safe Homes of Orange County, Warwick Little League, and Warwick Soccer. In 2006, she was honored as a Woman of Achievement by the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council and the YWCA of Orange County. She and her husband live in Warwick with their two children; Thomas, 12, and Katie, 10.
