Warwick - The Christ Episcopal Church Thrift Shop will celebrate 40 years of serving the community with an open house on Sunday, Feb. 25, from noon to 4 p.m. Barbara Burke, the co-chair, said the purpose of the open house was to celebrate with “our faithful shoppers” and “to reach people in the community who may not even realize we exist.” The thrift shop is located at 50 South St. in Warwick and has, according to Burke, a large selection of quality items, such as clothing (many designer labels and many with tags still on), linens, toys, books, baby items, seasonal items, games, lamps, dishes, glassware, formal wear, jewelry and collectibles. “Our prices are the cheapest around,” Burke said.
