Chelsea Senior Living acquires Van Dyk at Bald Eagle Commons

    West Milford — Chelsea Senior Living, LLC, which operates assisted living communities in three states in the northeast, has acquired the Van Dyk at Bald Eagle Commons senior residence. The residence is now called the Chelsea at Bald Eagle. Located at 197 Cahill Cross Road in West Milford, the Chelsea at Bald Eagle will continue to offer assisted living for seniors who need help with day to day routines, independent living for those who need no assistance and an Alzheimer’s/memory impairment program. “Van Dyk has successfully operated this wonderful facility for many years,” said Roger Bernier, president and Chief Operating Officer of Chelsea Senior Living. “We’re fortunate to be able to assume operation of such a well run community in this very scenic locale.” Kevin Seidel has been named executive director of the Chelsea at Bald Eagle. Seidel has been with Chelsea Senior Living for 10 years, most recently as executive director of the Chelsea residence in Montville. He is a certified assisted living administrator (CALA) and resides in Randolph with his wife. Stacy Swarts-Carver will continue on as community relations director of the Chelsea at Bald Eagle. A veteran of the Van Dyk community for the past six years, Swarts-Carver is a certified assisted living administrator and a licensed social worker. She resides in West Milford with her husband and three children.
