Among its features are high-end graphics and interactive component that reflect the region’s emerging technology economy and quality of life. “Tech Valley has an abundance of quality attributes and marketable assets and the portal is the best way to spread the word about the capabilities of this region,” said Michael Hickey, portal committee chair and chief operating officer of MapInfo Corp. Among the other guest speakers at the press conference was Geoff Anderson, chief operating officer of Polar Industries in New Windsor. “The portal includes all of the information business owners, families and individuals need to make an educated decision about the region,” said Anderson.
