Chamber accepting nominations

Newburgh —The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual Business of the Year awards. A nominated business must be a member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, locally owned, in business for at least three years, and must demonstrate a strong commitment to the community and a significant contribution to the economy of the area. Self-nominations are accepted. Award categories are businesses with 60 or more employees; 10-59 employees; 1-9 employees; and not-for-profit organizations. Nomination forms are available from the chamber office at 11 Racquet Road, Newburgh, or from www.orangeny.com. The deadline for nominations is Sept. 13. The awards will be presented at the chamber's annual meeting and awards reception on Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Inn at Central Valley.
