Mill Pond Cleaners opens in Warwick with a range of services
Pandemic loss of several Warwick dry cleaners left an opening, said co-owner Steven Maurer, who has several dry cleaners around Orange County.

WARWICK - Dry cleaning, folded laundry, leather and rug cleaning and more is now available in Warwick, as Mill Pond Cleaners continues its expansion in southern Orange County. They recently opened at 28 Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Merchant’s Square, just north of the Village of Warwick. Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners Steven and Anna Maurer and their staff last week to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Mill Pond Cleaners has been serving the region since 1962. Based in Monroe, with a full service dry cleaning plant there, the business has expanded to Orange County locations in Goshen, Central Valley and now Warwick.
“Warwick was an obvious location for us to extend our brand,” said Steven Maurer, “Mill Pond Cleaners has been servicing the area with its pickup and delivery dry cleaning service for many years, and customers expressed an interest in our opening a location here after Warwick lost several dry cleaning businesses to the economic slowdown in 2020, following COVID-19 shutdowns and work-from-home orders. Now is the time to invest in a rebound of the business.”
He added that Mill Pond Cleaners has a friendly staff with more than 150 years of combined experience, and that Mill Pond Cleaners strives to be up to date with techniques and environmentally responsible procedures. He cited Green Earth dry cleaning technology.
“We serve customers with door-to-door delivery service, convenient store locations and a full service range that includes dry cleaning, shirt laundry, wash and fold laundry service, expert alterations, pickup and delivery, and suede, leather and rug cleaning,” said Maurer.
