Glenmere Mansion announces new spa director with a 'December' spa special

Youliana Roussou has been named the new “Spa and Wellness Director” at Glenmere Mansion, the award-winning Relais & Chateaux hotel in Chester.

Roussou comes to Glenmere Mansion with a wealth of expertise in the hospitality and wellness industry where she is acknowledged as a leader in the field of skin care, health and wellness.

The CV

Roussou’s background in operation, leadership and marketing as a “Spa and Wellness Director” has contributed to the success of a number of spas in Boston proper, including Chuan Spa at the Langham Hotel; Exhale Spa at Fairmont Battery Wharf; and the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. In Boston, Roussou was named “Best of Boston Aesthetian” by Boston Magazine.

Roussou holds an active Aesthetics license. She has a degree from Northeastern University in Psychology and additionally has an MD in Environmental Medicine from Kishinev Medical School in Moldova.

She replaces Loretta Taylor, who is retiring to begin traveling around the world to visit the many friends she has made in her years of dedication to the spa field.

The spa

The Glenmere Mansion Spa includes a Carrara marble Bath House/Turkish Hammam, one of the few in the United States, where water therapies from around the world are incorporated into treatments using the spa’s herbal steam room, dry heat sauna, stimulating Swiss shower, cool mist room, Agua massage vitality pool and warm marble belly stone.

To celebrate Roussou's appointment, the Spa at Glenmere Mansion will offer a midweek special during December to invite spa guests to meet new spa director. All spa treatments will be offered Monday – Friday for the month of December at 15 percent off.
