On Saturday, Oct. 19, St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick held an all day family-friendly health and wellness fair. The theme was “Getting to know you, getting to know us.”
The public was invited to visit with the hospital’s staff at 14 information stations to learn more about the programs and services offered at the hospital..
They included diabetes and weight management programs, total joint replacement, vascular surgery, pain management, wound and infusion centers.
Visitors were also offered an opportunity to schedule a tour and learn more about the Warwick campus long-term care facilities including Mount Alverno Center assisted living program and Schervier Pavilion skilled nursing facility.
There were free screenings and education for everyone. And children had an opportunity to enjoy the day visiting fire apparatus provided by the Warwick Fire Department as well as face or hand painting and an “Are you a St. Anthony baby?” photo station.
