WARWICK - Don’t forget! St. Valentine’s Day is next Thursday, Feb. 14. Traditionally, the most popular gift on Valentine’s Day is candy. And that leads most Warwick residents to Sweetbriar’s, 26 Railroad Ave. “Sweetbriar’s is filled and ready with all types of Valentine sweets and gifts,” said owner Stephanie Faerman. “In addition to what our shop is known for, we will offer a large assortment of Valentine heart boxes filled with our delicious chocolates ready for you to give to your special someone.” Faerman will also continue the store’s long tradition of hand dipping and hand decorating chocolate covered strawberries. “If you need some other Valentine ideas,” said Faerman, “how about a bouquet of chocolate roses, or a beautiful Teddy Bear holding them? We have Joseph Schmidt Truffles and just got in their signature yummy Valentine Hearts. And we’ve selected quite a few heart shaped Anna Shea truffle pieces for those who have come to appreciate the finer things in life.” In addition to normal store hours, Sweetbriar’s is extending some evening hours and will be open on Monday and Tuesday of Valentine’s week, Feb. 11 and 12. Customized boxes should be ordered in advance. For information call 986-5700. Glass works At this time of year winter storms and high winds can wreck havoc on patio glass doors and showroom windows. She added that Chinese herbal formulas are also used to address many of the ailments that acupuncture treats, ranging from back pain to acid reflux. “I provide acupuncture treatment in a warm, comfortable, and modern office” said Barner. “I use a proven, ancient medicine designed to promote the bodies own ability to heal itself.
