Poughkeepsie —The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley (BMA-HV) will hold its first meeting of the 2006-2007 season on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. The event, sponsored by Q-Search, will be held at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, with Eric Brody, branding expert, serving as keynote speaker. Brody is a managing partner at Trajectory, an international marketing and communications firm that Brody founded after many years serving in top positions at some of the world’s premier branding consulting companies. He will speak about the characteristics of “passion” brands, meaning those brands that we want and even need to have in our lives because of what they stand for and how they make us feel. Says Bud Clarke, BMA-HV President, “Eric Brody is one of the best in the business and the setting will be perfect for a discussion of ‘passion’ branding. Eric will be bringing his award-winning programs for all of us to see exactly what it takes to create effective branding.” Q-Search has been designing and implementing successful programs for industries in technology, finance, human resources, marketing, communications, management consulting, and mechanical contracting since 1998. Their services include market research, political polling, business development, appointment setting, lead generation programs and customer satisfaction surveys. Any interested marketing professionals or those involved in marketing decision-making who wish to learn more about branding are encouraged to attend. Registration is $30 members, $35 chamber affiliates and $45 non-members.
