Budweiser Clydesdales strut into Florida this Sunday

Florida The Budweiser Clydesdales, one of the most recognizable mascots of the Anheuser-Busch Co., are in the area for events taking place in Florida and Goshen this weekend and are making their short-term home at the Goshen Historic Track. Yesterday was a public “meet and greet” at the Goshen Historic Track, where those interested in these draft horses ancestors of the Great Flemish horse could get a close look. For those who didn’t get to see the Clydesdales during the “meet and greet,” there’s still time. This evening, they will be appearing at the Port Jervis Fireman’s Museum, 27 Orange St., at 7 p.m. On Saturday, July 14, they will lead the 157 annual Port Jervis parade at 1 p.m. This Sunday, July 15, they will appear at the grand opening of the Quick Check convenience store, 179 N. Main St., in the Village of Florida. For additional information, contact Dana Distributors at 294-4100.
