Book sale raises more than $2,000

The Friends of the Albert Wisner Public Library Book Sale, held July 14 as part of Warwick’s Bargains Books & Barbeque sidewalk sale, raised $2,079 for the Albert Wisner Public Library. The sale gave book lovers the opportunity to browse through hundreds of used books, DVDs and audio books in search of a treasure. Co-chairs Katy Glover, Susie Graf and Diane Tomko wish to thank the Warwick community for their valuable donations of books and other materials. They offer their thanks to all the volunteers who sorted the books, set up the sale, sold the books and cleaned up afterward. Pictured here are a few of the book sale volunteers during the pre-sale preparations: front row, from left: Nancy Brandt, Diane Tomko, Laurie Angle and Susie Graf; and back row: Terry Ryan, Jill Mante, Katy Glover and Mike Angle. The Friends of the Library are now planning their Annual Moonlight over Warwick Gala which will be held on Oct. 27. (Photo provided by Kathleen Georgalas)
