BOCES welcomes Lisa Montanaro as its new coordinator for entrepreneurial assistance program

Goshen — The Orange-Ulster BOCES Office of Adult Education is pleased to welcome Lisa Montanaro to head up the New York State Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, administered through Orange-Ulster BOCES. Montanaro is an attorney who started her own successful business, LM Organizing Solutions, in 2002. She holds a B.A. from Hofstra University and a J.D. from Pace University School of Law. Her experience in employment law and owning and operating her highly successful business is sure to be a benefit to those Entrepreneurial Assistance participants looking to start up or expand their own business. The Entrepreneurial Assistance Program is a state grant-funded program for people in interested in starting a new business or growing an existing one. Coursework covers business plans, marketing and advertising, franchising, financial management, organizing and time management, and a round table discussion involving past students and local business experts. The Orange-Ulster BOCES Adult Education Division has been offering the opportunity for fledgling business owners to join the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program for many years in Orange County, with numerous successful small businesses receiving their start through the program.
