Boces offers sign language course

    Goshen — Orange-Ulster Boces will be offering a 7-week course in American Sign Language at 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings from Oct. 5 to Nov. 16, at the Goshen center. Through conversations and activities, students will become familiar with manual communication used by the deaf. Proficiency in sign language is a valuable skill for teachers, parents, employees and students of education or language programs. American Sign Language is an expressive language and is fun to learn.
