Basic Christianity' course offered at St. Mary's Church
Tuxedo Park - St. Mary’s Church in Tuxedo Park is offering a contemporary series of adult education classes on Saturdays, starting Feb. 18, called “Basic Christianity.” According to the Rev. David C. Killeen, the objective is to create an open and inclusive environment that appeals to people wondering about Christianity. Using video, written materials, small group discussion and large group forum, a group of people will encounter the basic principles of Christianity through the Anglican approach of scripture, tradition, and reason. The course runs through April 8. All people are encouraged to ask questions, and to learn how to answer their own questions of faith, Killeen said. The course is free. Childcare is available. To register, contact the St. Mary’s Parish Office at 845-351-5122 orconforti@bestweb.net.
