The Albert Wisner Public Library’s second annual Teen Battle of the Books was pitched at the parish hall of Christ Church on Aug. 21. Teams of teens competed to answer correctly the greatest number of questions about eight assigned fiction titles, among them “Tuck Everlasting” by Natalie Babbitt, “Airborn” by Kenneth Oppel and Thornton Wilder’s classic play “Our Town.” All of the participating teams were exceptionally well-prepared and performed outstandingly in the lively, good-natured competition.
