Artist tour scheduled for Oct. 13-14

The initial kick-off meeting for the annual Warwick Valley Artists Open Studio Tour, organized by Warwick artist Sarah McHugh, coordinator of the event, was recently held at the home of local businesswoman and artist Rosita Gilsenan. The Artists Open Studio Tour is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13, and Sunday, Oct. 14. Approximately 35 artists will participate in the popular self-guided tour. And in addition to opening their studios to the public in order to see where and how art is made, plans were formulated to provide a more involved and creative experience for all who attend. A special exhibition of each artist’s work will also be held at the La Montiel Dance Studio at 17 Main St. in Warwick from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12.
