‘Art for Aiden' auction to benefit young Highland Mills boy

Highland Mills — “Art for Aiden” will offer an art preview and silent auction from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and a live auction from 8 to 10 p.m., on Saturday, June 3, at St. Patrick’s Church on Route 32 in Highland Mills. The auction is a benefit for Aiden Berges, who is battling the disease histiocytosis. The event will include a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and a wine and cheese reception with music. Approximately 160 pieces of art, memorabilia and glass will be auctioned by Marlin Art of New York, at half to one-third below gallery prices. The works of Jane Wooster Scott, LeRoy Neiman, Guido Borelli, and Andrew Wyeth, are just a few of the artists to be featured. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will benefit the family of Aiden Berges, and twenty-five percent will benefit the Histiocytosis Association of America. Items for the silent auction will be accepted by the sponsors, Keller Williams Realty, at 229 Route 32 in Central Valley, or call 914-443-8164 for pick-up.
