‘Art for Aiden' auction to benefit young Highland Mills boy

Highland Mills — “Art for Aiden” will offer an art preview and silent auction from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and a live auction from 8 to 10 p.m., on Saturday, June 3, at St. Patrick’s Church on Route 32 in Highland Mills. The auction is a benefit for Aiden Berges, who is battling the disease histiocytosis. The event will include a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and a wine and cheese reception with music. Approximately 160 pieces of art, memorabilia and glass will be auctioned by Marlin Art of New York, at half to one-third below gallery prices. The works of Jane Wooster Scott, LeRoy Neiman, Guido Borelli, and Andrew Wyeth, are just a few of the artists to be featured. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will benefit the family of Aiden Berges, and twenty-five percent will benefit the Histiocytosis Association of America.
