Application deadline for HVPS scholarships is April 15

Goshen - The Hudson Valley Polonaise Society Inc. is sponsoring two cash scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Orange County who are of Polish descent. The scholarships are for $1,000 and $500 and will be awarded on scholastic achievement and individual contributions to school and community. Five finalists will be chosen by a committee and will also undergo a personal interview before the final selection. Graduating seniors from Orange County are encouraged to contact their school’s guidance office for an application, or you can write to HVPS at PO Box 162, Goshen, N.Y. 10924 for further information. Deadline for submission is April 15. HVPS is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the customs and traditions of Polish heritage. Through activities of this club, the members work together to raise funds to support various programs and projects.
