Applewood Winery Dog Show to benefit Humane Society
WARWICK-On Sunday, June 27, Applewood Winery will host a dog talent show to benefit the Warwick Valley Humane Society. Visitors are invited to escort their dogs to the winery, where they will have the opportunity to show off and win prizes. Contests will include best tail wagger, best kisser, best trick, best costume, best look-alike, biggest, smallest, most fitting name, most unusual, best bark, Simon says, and, of course, best in show. Live music will be performed during the show by local acoustic singer/songwriter, Jenn Tarante. Jenn is from Warwick and recently appeared at the Bitter End in New York City. The cost to register for the dog show will be $10 per dog. All of the proceeds from registration will be donated to the Humane Society for the benefit of homeless pets. Registration will be held on the day of the event, beginning at 11 a.m. Festivities will begin at 12:30 p.m. Applewood Winery is located at 82 Four Corners Road in Warwick.
