Annual picnic rained out

The annual parish picnic, sponsored by Warwick's Church of St. Stephen, the First Martyr, which was scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 28, was canceled this year due to inclement weather. The Pastor, Rev. Michael McLoughlin, however, celebrated Mass for a group of hopeful parishioners who showed up for the picnic at the Town Park. McLoughlin admitted disappointment but reminded everyone to count their blessings and to pray for Gulf Coast residents, who were anticipating, at that time, the devastating hurricane, which struck the following morning.
