Greenwood Lake — Associate Broker John Caputo and members of his family were joined by Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Greenwood Lake Mayor Barbara Moore and Michael Johndrow, executive director of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, Nov. 17 for the grand opening of All Island Realty Group, Inc. The new real estate branch office managed by Caputo is located at 108 Windermere Ave. in Greenwood Lake. The principal broker is Joanne Greenspan, owner of the main branch of the Long Island real estate firm. Caputo is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Accredited Buyers Agent. After 25 years he retired as the New York City Director of Occupational Safety and Health and afterwards, worked for ten more years as a Legal Consultant. Caputo then began his third career as a Realtor affiliated with several large firms in the Hudson Valley. He and his wife, Pat, live in the Village of Warwick. They have three children and four grandchildren. Recently, Caputo convinced his longtime friend, All Island Broker Joanne Greenspan, to open a branch office in Greenwood Lake, where he could serve the needs of the local community and surrounding areas. “While living in Warwick and feeling the effects of a changing real estate market first hand,” said Caputo. “I decided to become an active part of the community. Every village or town should have a working Real Estate office presence within its boundaries. Besides completing the circle of businesses, a real estate office acts as a gateway to the local community and the surrounding area.” Caputo added that besides offering complete and traditional residential and commercial Real Estate practices, the All Island Realty Group, Inc. will specialize in serving seniors and baby boomers as well as first time buyers and sellers.
