Services will be held on Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year (Sept. 28-30), as well as Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement (Oct. 7-8). All services will be held at the Chabad Center, 1170 Route 17M, Suite 1, (upper level lot entrance), Chester. “All are welcome regardless of experience or affiliation,” said Rabbi Pesach Burston, director of Chabad of Orange County. There is no charge and memberships are not required. “Your soul is your ticket,” Burston added. Chabad’s services are “user-friendly,” making it enjoyable and meaningful for both the beginner and the advanced. Song, commentary and the use of English-Hebrew prayer books, enable those of all levels to become active participants in the services. There will be interactive services for children with story time, games, toys, snacks and lots of fun with experienced and dedicated staff. “This will be a fun way to introduce the wonderful world of the Synagogue to children while giving the parents a chance to enjoy the services,” said Chana Burston, the rabbi’s wife and co-director of Chabad. All Rosh Hashanah services will be followed by a buffet Kiddush. After Yom Kippur, a scrumptious Break-Fast will be served. Learn more Reservations are greatly appreciated; walk-ins welcome.
