The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has extended the public comment period for the proposed comprehensive conservation plan for through April 9. The draft plan, including an environmental assessment, is available online at: www.fws.gov/northeast/planning/Wallkill%20River/ccphome.html. People may submit comments by electronic mail to northeastplanning@fws.gov (please put “Wallkill River” in the subject line).
