Accident on Route 94 leads to power loss
Warwick Heather Sullivan was making a right turn out of the ShopRite parking lot on Monday, Nov. 12, when a white pickup truck came speeding up to her, passing her on the left. Sullivan, 32 from Wayne, N.J., lost control of her car and struck a utility pole and tire rack at Leo Kaytes Ford. The utility pole fell, and the tire rack damaged three cars on the lot. Warwick Volunteer Ambulance took Sullivan to St. Anthony Community Hospital where she was treated and released with minor injuries, according to Warwick Police Sgt. Chris Cockburn. Things went from bad to worse. When Orange & Rockland arrived on the scene to repair the utility pole, the truck snagged the electric line that had come down, pulling part of the roof and the utility lines off the building, and leaving the car dealership with no power. Cockburn said the dealership was closed all day Tuesday. No charges were filed. And the white pickup truck never stopped.
