Aafia's locks

Aafia Syed, an eighth grader at the Warwick Valley Middle School, recently donated 20 inches of her hair to the Locks of Love program. The stylist, Donna, at Vincent of Warwick cut her hair. Aafia, who is 13, said she wanted to help kids who lose their hair due to chemotherapy. It took her about four years to grow her hair. (Photos provided by Naureen Syed)
