A visit from the dentist

Learning the ABCs of dental care Warwick — The toddlers and preschoolers attending Warwick Daycare Center and Good Shepherd Preschool were treated to a visit from Warwick Valley Dental on Tuesday, April 25. They learned that going to the dentist can actually be a fun experience, especially when you know what to expect. Dr. Vipul Patel and his dental hygienist Karen Pikul offered a presentation that was designed to encourage brighter smiles. The two provided an entertaining and informative demonstration to teach the children about the importance of dental hygiene and developing good dental habits. The children learned how to brush and floss properly, why not to eat sweets between meals, and the importance of brushing after each meal. Warwick Daycare Center is located at 18 Grand Ave., and Good Shepherd Preschool at 95 Kings Highway in Warwick. Warwick Valley Dental is located at 35 Galloway Road in Warwick.
