A hearty thanks to a friend and neighbor

To the editor: On Oct. 2, the Nicholas P. Lesando Jr. American Legion Post #214 had another successful year parking cars for the annual Applefest. This would not have been possible without the generosity and help provided by our good friend and neighbor, Cedric Glaspar, owner and manager of the Mechanical Rubber Products Co. on Forester Avenue. Through Mr. Glaspar’s helpful suggestions, and our hard working crew, we will be able to give a generous donation to both the Girl Scouts of America and the Warwick Day Care Center at Mt. Alverno, raised from this event. This mutual agreement helps the worthy organizations in our community with needed gifts to operate and also keeps them at home here in our village. I would once again like to thank Mr. Glaspar, and can only say I wish this relationship between us continues for many years. Respectfully, Robert P. Ritzer Post #214 Commander
