Warwick Valley Farm Aid 2011 raised $100,000 and 45 Black Dirt farms will share equally in the proceeds raised fully on their behalf by a grateful community. “To think in four weeks to raise $100,000 from this community is amazing,” said Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton about the local effort to prevent the farms from closing. Community 2000 will continue to accept donations for the farm community but the farm aid portion has closed.
