$5,500 raised for ‘Safe Homes'

Musicians Chris Turpin and Thomas Matavick volunteered their talent to the 14 annual “Love-Gently Dinner,” hosted and co-sponsored by Painter’s Cornwall-on-Hudson. A loyal crowd of local celebrity waiters and friends of Safe Homes of Orange County raised $5,500 for the agency’s comprehensive services and programs for victims of domestic violence. Among celebrity wait staff were Town of Cornwall Supervisor Kevin Quigley; Deputy Supervisor MaryBeth Greene-Krafft; Town Clerk Elaine Schneer; Council Person Randy Clark; Cornwall-on-Hudson Village Clerk Jeanne Mahoney; County Legislators Alan Seidman and Melissa Bonacic; Carl DuBois, Orange County sheriff; Victoria Casey, director of probation; Ann Marie Maglione with the county executive’s office.
