Theresa Cassanite turns 90

Theresa Cassanite of Warwick celebrated her 90th birthday at a family gathering last month, where she was surrounded by her family.
WARWICK — Theresa (Folino) Cassanite of Warwick turned 90 years old on Dec. 29.
She celebrated this milestone birthday at a family gathering on Dec. 21, where she was surrounded by her loving family which included one grandson, four granddaughters, two great-grandaughters and three great-grandsons (another great-grandson is on the way).
Tess was born and raised in Warwick. She married Frank Cassanite in 1947 and they raised two children together.
Frank passed away in 2008.
Tess was employed for 30 years on the cafeteria staff at the Park Avenue School.
She has been a member of the Saint Stephen's Catholic Daughters for more than 60 years as well as the Goodwill Hook & Ladder Company auxiliary.
