SUNY Orange holds commencement

SUNY Orange celebrated its 61st commencement on May 21, by presenting degrees to an unprecedented 470 graduates who elected to take part in the ceremony. In all, the college had more than 800 graduates complete their degree requirements during the 2010-11 academic year. Due to soggy and potential treacherous conditions of the college’s Alumni Green due to rain, SUNY Orange moved the event indoors to the Physical Education Building and provided a live simulcast at three locations on campus to accommodate overflow crowds. The event was also streamed live online for the first time in the college’s history.
