Central Valley - Monroe-Woodbury High School Principal Aldo C. Filippone has announced that Stacey Hintze has been awarded the school’s “Pursuit of Excellence” award for academic leadership and outstanding achievements. “When Mrs. Hintze first began the drama program, she started with one acting class,” Filippone said. “Over the years, she has developed a curriculum that exposes students to various techniques in acting. Today, our high school offers multiple sections of both acting and advanced acting. Mrs. Hintze easily develops a rapport with the students in her classroom, as well as those who are part of the dramas and the musicals.” In his citation, the principal continued: “Mrs. Hintze’s ability to motivate students to reach their maximum potential is evident in each of the performances. Members of the audience are always amazed, and equate the high caliber and professionalism of the productions to a Broadway show. Mrs. Hintze is also an accomplished artist. Her passion for the arts provides great inspiration for her students.”
