Patrick Kelly completes Air Force training in Texas

Warwick — Air Force Airman Patrick A. Kelly graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, Feb. 10. The son of Timothy J. and JoEllen H. Kelly of Warwick, he is a 2004 graduate of Warwick Valley High School. During six weeks of training, Kelly studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies. He received training in rifle marksmanship, field exercises and human relations, performed drill and ceremony marches, along with physical training. By completing basic training, Kelly received credits toward an associates degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is currently receiving specialized training in his selected field at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
