Yvonne (Ivana) Paolini, a 28-year resident of Sugar Loaf, died on Sunday, May 7, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was 81.
Daughter of John and Malvina Loreti, she was born on Aug. 21, 1935, in the Bronx. 
She was a retired medical supervisor at Visiting Nurse Agency in New York City. 
She was the vice president of the Orange Blossoms American Legion #1167, Ladies Auxiliary in Chester and a valued member of the Chester Senior Center.  
Survivors include her husband, Marino Paolini, of Sugar Loaf; daughter, Elisa Maruottolo, and grandson, Rickie Maruottolo, of Goshen; brother, Sal Loreti and his wife, Maria, of Rye; sister, Rose Battista of Livingston, N.J.; nephews, Sebastian and Andrew Loreti, Joseph Battista, and niece Gina Forgioue. 
Visitation was held May 10 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Chester. A Funeral Mass was held May 11 at St. Columba Church Roman Catholic Church, Chester. Burial followed at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
