    William (Bill) J. Carter of Chester passed away on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Orange Regional Memorial Center. He was 65 years old.
    Born in Brooklyn on Sept. 9, 1952, he was the son of Henry Carter and Dorothy (Rohs) Carter.
    He worked as a Bridge and Tunnel officer for the TriBoro Bridge and Tunnel Authority in New York City.
    Bill is survived by his wife, Deborah (Hogan) Carter at home; daughter JaNene Carter and her husband Juan Diaz of Lynbrook; son Jarrett Carter and wife Sandy of Freeport; grandchildren Evan, Dylan and Stone; and his beloved dog, Lady Tallulah.
    He was predeceased by brothers Bobby and Harry.
    A Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick. Private cremation.
