‘Whitey’ Nebel
Robert “Whitey” W. Nebel of Warwick, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at home. He was 69 years old.
Son of Frank A. Nebel and Luella Lucha Nebel, he was born Sept. 29, 1943, in Warwick.
He worked for the Lehigh & Hudson, Conrail and NJ Transit Railroads before his retirement.
Whitey also was a proud member of the Brady Mt. Hunting Club.
He is survived by his son, Richard A. Nebel of Warwick; sister, Barbara Nebel Kretschmer and her husband Klaus of Pacifica, Calif.; cousins: Mark Kurtz and family of Warwick, Grace Elaine Pawelski and family of Goshen, Linda Kurtz, wife of the late Bill Kurtz, and family of Warwick; Uncle Johnny and Aunt Gert Seekamp and family of Florida, N.Y.; granddaughter Julia Nebel.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Nebel.
Funeral services were held privately.
