Valerie W. Demberg

Valerie W. Demberg of Westtown passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. She was 71.
The daughter of Lester C. Lockwood and Margaret Helen Williams Lockwood, she was born on Feb. 6, 1947, in Brooklyn.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1703, Unionville, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Demberg; daughter Lisa Bishop-Key of Simpsonville, S.C.; and other children: Elizabeth Ann Leith (Michael) of Denver, Colorado; Cathy Doney (Donald) of Rye, N.H.; Steven Demberg (Simone) of Westtown; Ruth Johnson of East Greenbush; and Eleanor Rosenbloom (Jeff) of Rochester; granddaughter Sophia Lyne Key; grandson Brandon Lockwood Bishop; 14 other grandchildren: Austin, Sarah, Madison, Donald, Charlotte, Morgan, Alex, Emily, Ally, Sam, Jacob, Lydia, Natalie and Aaron; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sisters Brooke Lockwood and Parry Ehlart.
As per the families wishes, cremation will be held privately and a celebration of life will be held in the future.
