Susan E. Baker
Susan E. Baker of Warwick (formerly of Naples, Florida), passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 75.
Born on Sept. 5, 1942, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of William E. Earl and Janet B. White.
A homemaker, Susan received a B.A. from Dickinson College. She formerly worked as a patient representative at Arlington Hospital in Virginia, and as a former store manager at the Chico’s in Naples, Florida.
In the Warwick community, she was an active volunteer. To the “girls” she mentored and loved – “Here’s to good women – May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.”
She was known as “Mama Suz” to her grandsons and their friends.
She is survived by her two daughters: Karen Pinkham and husband George of Pine Island and Laura Green and husband Frank of Warwick; four grandsons: Trevor, Tristan, Trey and Cody; and a brother, Paul Earl and his wife Dale of Massachusetts.
Memorial visitation was held Dec. 30 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. A memorial service followed.
