Scott M. Utter

Scott M. Utter of Port Jervis entered into rest on Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was 49.
The son of Clarence Utter and Pamela Johnson Utter, he was born March 4, 1969, in Goshen.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Middletown.
Survivors include his mother Pamela Utter; father Clarence Utter; adopted father John Zobel; stepbrother Jason Utter; aunts Betty Johnson and Patricia Brown; girlfriend Carol McDonough; “Little Man” Zakkori; best friend, Anthony; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Darren Utter; grandparents Frank and Betty Johnson and Margaret and Clarence Utter.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route 1, Pine Island.
Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial of his ashes will be held at a later date in Warwick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
