Ruth Heter

Ruth Heter of Florida, N.Y., entered into rest Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Middletown Park Manor in Middletown. She was 90.

The daughter of Nicholas and Annie Russett, she was born July 30, 1922, in Ellenville.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Heter, at home; stepson Raymond Heter and his wife Linda of Spring Hill, Fla.; step grandchildren: Kimberly Browne and her husband Don; Bryan Heter and his wife Tammy; Timothy Lempka and his wife Michele; Amy Lempka; and Tammy Loiacono and her husband Scott; step great grandchildren: Addison Browne, Hayden Heter, Jake and Kyle McCarey and Christopher, Matthew, Brandon and Sheldon Loiacono; sister-in-law June Kalsinsky; and niece Elizabeth Russett.

She was predeceased by her stepdaughter Cassie Heter; sister Betty Flur; and brother Michael Russett.

There will be no visitation.
A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida. The Rev. Bernard Heter will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
