Rose Theresa Kireakedes

    Rose Theresa Kireakedes, a lifelong resident of White Plains, passed away quietly Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at home. She was 88.

    She was predeceased by her beloved husband Christopher G. Kireakedes in 2010, and by her brothers Bartholomew II and Ambrose Locanthi and Joseph Locanthy.

    She is survived by her loving son Christopher of Cortlandt Manor and daughter Deborah Ann and her husband Edward Sattler of the Town of Warwick and grandchildren Luke of the Village of Warwick and Timothy of Doylestown, Pa.

    She is also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

    Rose worked for many years in White Plains in manufacturing for hearing aid pioneer and innovator Sonoton, and also for Blue Coral and Waldbaums.
