Rose Theresa Greener
Rose Theresa Greener of Florida, N.Y., a retired produce farmer, entered into rest on Sunday, May 12, 2013, in St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 97.
The daughter of Felix and Margaret Heter Sosler, she was born Sept. 6, 1915, in the Village of Florida.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in the Village of Florida as well as a member of the church’s Living Rosary Society.
Mom loved to spend time in her kitchen cooking and baking.
She is survived by her daughter Rosemarie H. Greener; three sons: Carl J. Greener Jr. and his wife Carol; Robert C. Greener and his wife Deborah and Jerome Greener; three granddaughters: Cheryl A. Greener and her fiancé Darryl Ingrassia, Leeza Greener and fiancé Adam Jackler and Brittney Greener and her boyfriend Ryan Jackler; sister Cecelia Labriola; many sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl J. Greener Sr. and her firs- born son, Richard Greener; seven brothers: Joseph, Adam, Stanley, Felix, Tony, Eddie and Louis Sosler; four sisters: Frances Rosciecki, Alice Pluta, Helen Schwerdt and Agnes Kotarski.
A funeral Mass was held St. Joseph Church in the Village of Florida. The Rev. Bernard Heter officiated.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
