Ronald Elliott

Ronald Elliott of Warwick, a retired U.S. Army Colonel with the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps, entered into rest on Friday Oct. 5, 2012 . He was 67.
The son of Byron Elliott and Hilda Maffett Elliott, he was born Aug. 30, 1945, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Ron thoroughly enjoyed his time golfing, bowling and kayaking with his many friends.
Ron is survived by his mother Hilda Elliott; his wife Linda Elliott; daughters Ashley Elliott and Marisa Elliott; brother-in-law Don Dahlfues and his wife Judy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Dahlfues.
Memorial visitation will take Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 to 11 a.m., at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., in the Village of Florida. A military honor guard service will be held at 11 a.m.
