    Ronald C. Blake of Terre Haute, Indiana, and formerly of Milford, Pa., and Warwick, N.Y., passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013.

    The son of Clayton and Alice Blake, Ron was 62.

    Ron was an avid sportsman. He was also a member of the NRA and the Junior Rifle Club in Warwick.

    He was a member of the Goodwill Hook and Ladder volunteer for the Warwick Fire Department. Ron worked at Jones Chemical in Warwick for many years before relocating.

    He loved competition and drove Bommer division at White Lake Raceway in White Lake, the Mac-a-tek Speedway in Lakeville, Pa., and Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute. He was also a volunteer firefighter at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania.

    Ron was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Blake.

    Ron is survived by his wife Patricia, step-sons Steven and Patrick Meany; grandsons Timothy and Tyler Meany; granddaughter Christina Meany; and one great granddaughter, Mackenzie Meany, all of Terre Haute.

    He is also survived by two sisters; Helen Scheuerman and her husband George of Warwick and Lori Sosa and her husband John of Walton; nephew John Scheuerman of Boulder, Colorado, and niece Kassandra Sosa of Walton.

    Grave side services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Warwick Cemetery.
